Search Terms
When a name, location, or other query is entered into a search tool, that query is sent to the third-party provider operating the tool. Jefferson County Inmate Population does not store those search terms in its own records.
Messages
If you email or otherwise send a message, the information in that message may be kept long enough to read it, respond, and maintain ordinary business records. It is not shared outside the organization unless a legal requirement applies.

Links Away From This Site
This site links to sheriff rosters, Kansas court portals, KDOC KASPER, federal locators, ICE ODLS, and private search tools. Once you leave this site, the privacy policy of the destination site controls how your information is handled. Some of those records may be available because of the Kansas Open Records Act, including K.S.A. 45-216, but that law does not control private partner data practices.
Advertising partners may use their own cookies or tracking technologies to measure ads or show interest-based advertising across other websites. That tracking occurs on the partners' systems, not in a county records system.
